Care Net News and Events
March 7th, 2009: Yet again, our Walk for Life this year was a huge success! We raised over $42,000 for the ministry! That is the most we have ever raised at one of our walks! We had over 300 walkers participate and were very excited to have several local churches represented at the walk. We would like to congratulate King's Baptist who had the most walkers.
Care Net would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible, from the walkers and sponsors, to the volunteers and churches. We could not have done this without you. The support of our community is what makes it possible for Care Net to exist in Indian River County. May God bless each and every one of you for helping reach lives for Christ.

Care Net "Share-In-A-Life" Banquet 2008
This year's banquet was held on Tuesday, November 11th at First Church of God. We had over three hundred guests and Fred Barnes was our speaker for the night. Fred Barnes is an American journalist, author, and conservative political commentator, and is the executive editor of the news publication "The Weekly Standard," co-host with Mort Kondracke of "The Beltway Boys" on the Fox News Channel, and also regularly appears on Fox's "Special Report" with Brit Hume.
We'd like to thank everyone who made this banquet a success, from the banquet committee to the table hosts, and everyone who generously donated financially to this ministry. Thank you!
