Abstinence

In a world in which young people are bombarded with conflicting messages, teenagers are constantly seeking answers. Care Net Pregnancy Center's Abstinence Educators desires to help teens and young adults find those answers. We understand that young people face all kinds of issues from sex, drugs and homosexuality, to relationships, dating and peer-pressure. We want to help young people make wise and educated decisions now, knowing that it will affect and determine their future.

What we offer:

     - one-on-one peer-counseling

     - group sessions and discussions

     - abstinence and secondary-virginity peer-counseling

     - group presentations for schools, churches, and community groups

Teens Restoring Life

Teens Restoring Life is a peer counseling group of high school students modeling a lifestyle of integrity by committing to be sexually pure, and drug, alcohol, and tobacco free. Our purpose is to help other students by being a positive role model for our peers. Valentines Day Outreach

We spend time with younger teens discussing the pressures and decisions teenagers face today. We prepare presentations for schools, churches, and community groups on topics like peer pressure, sex and dating, making and keeping friends, drinking, getting along with parents, self-esteem, loneliness, and rejection.

Quotes from the Teen Advisors

"I think that many teens are unaware of others who share the same kinds of values as they do. TRL gives those teens a chance to see that they are not alone in taking a stand for what is right." - Sarah Boling

"I know that ABSTINENCE is the only 100 percent effective method of birth control, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, self- esteem, and a good future. Choosing abstinence will help you feel in control of your mind and body." - Maria Murillo

"It is a big step to proclaim that you are pure of sex, drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. It's even better to share that with other teens and have an amazing feeling that you are an example also. I am willing to help myself and others be physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially pure!" - Abby Love
